We are Aris and Evi. Together, we are continuing Autocover, a family craft business operating since 1978 with expertise, consistency, and dedication to detail. We create highly durable products with a stable team of people who bring life to every piece that leaves our workshop daily. Living with Troufa, we saw firsthand how difficult it is to find dog beds that remain clean, durable, and beautiful in the home. This need led us to create POUF AND FLOUF, a practical, elegant "sheet" for dogs that is easy to change - just like you change your own sheets - and offers the quality we would want for our own dog....
The beginning.
Mr. Vasilis and automotive expertise. We asked for the help of my father, Mr. Vasilis - founder of Autocover and a man with over 45 years of experience in durable automotive materials - and, with his expertise and many years of experience, he gave us the best solution. At Autocover, everything is tested under extreme conditions - heat, cold, humidity, friction. We approached pet products in the same way. Every fabric, every foam, every seam is tested in our home, by Troufa. We use some materials for up to a year before we decide if they are worthy of being put on the market. It is an amateur but genuine and very strict "everyday R&D" process.
And somewhere along the way, Simba joined...
Our cat, Simba, is sensitive to cold. While Troufa was testing the first beds, he curled up in whatever was warmest. We made him a nest. This nest evolved into a new product line that we will soon introduce. POUF AND FLOUF started with Troufa, but it is growing with Simba. And with them, our ideas are evolving.
Why we created POUF AND FLOUF.
Because we got tired of "beautiful but useless" products. Because we didn't want to buy a new bed every 3-6 months. Because most "premium" pet beds tear, smell, or don't fit the aesthetic of a modern home. We wanted something:
- practical
- beautiful
- truly durable
- economical in long-term use
- customizable
- and - above all - clean
What makes us better.
- Autocover expertise since 1978. We have roots in an industry where there is no room for error. The materials we work with are designed for extreme demands. Everything we make is built to last.
- Troufa is our R&D. There is no laboratory test stricter than the real daily life of a pet. If something doesn't last in our home, we don't sell it.
- Production in Thessaloniki. Our own workshop. Our own people. The production of the fabric parts is done here. The wooden sofas are made by an experienced craftsman in Pieria. And of course, we offer custom solutions for whoever needs it.

- Time lost in washing - drying - re-inserting the base into the cover. In the market, dressing/undressing a typical pet bed takes over 20-25 minutes. With POUF AND FLOUF, you need 20 seconds.
The advantage that changes everything.
The bed base has a 5-year warranty, and with our experience, we know it can last 7-8 years. The "sheets" can be changed whenever you want, without replacing the entire bed. Therefore:
- you dramatically reduce costs
- you don't throw away bulky products every few months • you always have a clean and beautiful space
Sustainability & Responsibility
For us, responsibility is not a slogan - it's a practical choice:
- Long lifespan. The durable base significantly reduces waste; it doesn't need to be replaced often.
- Changing fabric, not the bed. You keep the bulky and expensive part for years and only change the "sheet," just as you would with your own bed.
- Local production. The production of the fabric parts is done in Thessaloniki by our own team, with an emphasis on stability, quality control, and reducing unnecessary transportation.
- Rational distribution within Thessaloniki. We gather orders and make deliveries every 10-12 days with our own vehicle, to limit the environmental footprint from local transportation.
Our approach to design.
We believe that every product should combine beauty, stability, and ease of use. When aesthetics, durability, and practicality are in balance, the result becomes truly useful - and lasts over time. The wooden sofas are made by a craftsman in Pieria. The fabric parts are sewn in our workshop. Every piece passes through our hands - and through Troufa.
